I think that the Rebels will win this going away. The thing that scares me is our pass defense and pass offense. There is know dought that we and run and stop the run. If we run across a team that can pass the we may have some troubles. Our pass offense has not looked that good so far this year (we have not had to pass much). But that is the two thing we need to work on.

It's quiet obvious that the Rebels need to work on a handful of things. The passing game is just non-existent(especially this past game). Hopefully it will get to where it needs to be as I think it will. We talk and talk about how the pass defense needs to step it up and it's so very true. Rockcastle County had a good quarterback that threw a high percentage against Boyle County and IMO I don't think he is the best quarterback we will face this year. In no way is Boyle County flawless, as no team is, and there will be some things to work on but the Rebels are a good team. As long as they stay focused I believe the Rebels will have a successful season. Just take it one game at a time and I believe they will reach their ultimate goal. Go Rebels! :thumb:

That's what I gathered from a few other posts. Can you tell us more about the style of offense this Pikeville team runs and the talents of those playing for them? BTW, I'm not a coach, just looking for insight into the upcoming game.

I am thinking if they only scored 14 against Holy Cross(Covington) then how will they score more than 14 on us? Am I wrong for thinking that way? Rockcastle County proved to be better than I thought and I think they may have scored more if they had made a few adjustments. Is it safe for me to assume Pikeville will not move the ball like Rockcastle County seemed to do at times?

Hopefully Pikeville will go to this game and elimate the mistakes made in their first game. Then just hold their own with Boyle and maybe we can stay within a few touchdowns.
