August 24, 200917 yr In a way you'll miss those things to, right? In some ways. But there is a definate correlation to my sales $ going up, and school being in session. Having the luxury to work from home is great, but you are also open to more scrutiny from management. The performance has to be there in order to enjoy the good things that come with staying home.

August 24, 200917 yr Author He'll get on track... Maybe. Maybe but I know he is finding his freedom away from Mom and Dad and breaking boundaries and doing "stuff" but we both know that it is going to happen we just pray for his safety and our sanity. LOL
August 24, 200917 yr My "baby" is a senior this year. I miss getting the school supply list and going shopping with the kids. I miss their excitement over finding out who their teachers and classmates are. I miss not being able to wait until they got home that first day. I always had brownies waiting. First day of college for my other two.....I hate!

August 25, 200917 yr Tomorrow will be a teacher day and then Tuesday is students return to my jr/high school. What is your favorite thing about the 1st day of school. I love the smell of pencils, crayons and new paper(so I'm strange so what), I love seeing the students again, I love seeing the excitement of the football players about the new season(I teach in Ohio). What about college 1st day? I might add to this post that I have already picked my retirement date 6-1-2019, 10 more years to go. Being a retired teacher...I don't have to go now....
