When it comes to this game I think Im going to play it safe and say...No Comment.

Let bygones be bygones. Quit living in the past. It's time for a new beginning. Don't dwell on the past, look to the future. No need to bring up ancient history. This is a new season.

 

I’m not sure about others, but I’m definitely looking forward to the future RAM! The past is much too dismal when you consider the Rams have escaped Putnam with the W for three consecutive years.

Painter, is that a new avatar?

My take is that in the past 3 or 4 years the Raceland coaching staff has completely out prepared the Ashland coaching staff for this game. All the credit in the world goes to the Raceland staff. Ashland once experimented with Matt Thomas at QB, which was a complete disaster and cost Ashland that particular game. Ashland "should" be better prepared for this game mentally and physically. If Ashland is unable to win this game I will be surprised and very disappointed in the Ashland coaching staff. Just my take.

Graybeard, I'm not crying. This is my 4th year being associated with Raceland and I have never had a bad experience at Putnam. As a matter of fact, since my playing days, I have always considered Putnam one of my top 2 places to play. Simply put, it is a great field and the atmosphere is awesome. I was bragging to my wife about it again Friday night. I am shocked that stating a fact regarding where these games are played is portrayed as being a cry baby. Crying would be complaining or being accusatory and this my friend is a factual statement. Do I want to stop this series over the venue? Heck no! I love the competition and it only makes both teams better to play quality opponents.

 

BTW, I need some dates to work with in scheduling my swim meet with Mr. Phelps.

While I'll agree that the sophomore QB for Ashland has alot of potential, I wouldn't be surprised one bit if it is the Raceland QB that gets the majority of the love after this one.

:thumb: I hope you're right, I do know that he now has more proven receivers to throw to. I was impressed with the number or receivers that contributed last week, I hope they keep it up.
