I thought in the 4th Quarter the announcer said he had returned from the hospital.

Gus Sulfridge was back at the game by the 4th quarter. That has to be great news for he and North Laurel. He came down hard on the top of his head and I fully expected it to be a neck injury. I didn't see any brace on his neck and he was up and down the sidelines cheering his team on. Hope it is nothing serious as he is an important player for NL on both sides of the ball.

Was at the game, Congrats to NL they came ready to play and took it to PC. I dont think this was a fluke, I think NL will surprise more teams this year and get some W's.

 

Hats off to the folks at NL, I was impressed by the(Jungle)stadium and field, very nice. IMO they may want to change up the PA system with the sounds and music.JMO

I could not have been further off in my pick, it must have been a sterling effort from the Jags, looks like if they continue to improve and play well they may well challenge for a not only a playoff spot but a home playoff game.

Congradulations to Chris Larkey, no doubt a program changer! I see great things in the near future for him and his program. The Rock surely misses him.

True, but imo a bit misleading. They were hardly ever in a passing situation. They moved the ball on the ground pretty easily. I don't remember PC punting one time. NL did force a couple of fumbles that ended drives.

I do think they need to update the PA a little bit. The arch was repainted this season and really looks nice. The field looked very nice. Usually there is just a big 'N' at midfield, but this year the 'NL' really looked sharp.

I don't think it was a fluke either. NL has some talent. Much of the junior class was getting on the job training last year, and with what Larkey and his staff have brought, they look like they are taking to his style very quickly. I was surprised by the holes the line opened. They have really stepped up. Wardrup ran harder than I have seen him run. All the backs ran hard, ... Fugate, Sapcut, Sulfridge, Wagers, etc. I hope that the Jaguars take this win for what it is, ... a wonderful building block to improve from. If they continue to play with that fire and intensity the whole season, they have a real shot at a good season.

Not sure how that could be misleading, they had over 40 total plays, the receivers were always covered and Muse being forced to run out of the pocket. Out of 40 plays, completing only 1 pass is a credit to the defense. You can't say that out of 40 some plays Hines never had the opportunity to call more passes, and if he didn't he obviously should've tried. What is a passing situation? IMO any down could be a passing or running situation.

The NL DBs really did a great job in coverage. Muse was able to pick up some big yards on scrambles, but also was sacked a few times (I remember 2 for sure). I thought the defense made some big plays as the fumbles were caused fumbles. It seems that both forced fumbles were from someone putting a hat on the ball. That was impressive. There was one dropped pass and some of the others were short of the WR, who was well covered.

They never punted all night -so I think their offense is fine.
