But some see him as a liability..

But some see him as a liability..
And claim his stuff couldn't get out "high school hitters" ...
^ Are you sure about that??

Weathers has never blown 8 saves in a season in his career..

His 3.54 ERA in his career with the Reds is also terrible..:ohbrother:

I'm also not sure where you got your ERA's in your post because they are wrong. http://mlb.mlb.com/team/player.jsp?player_id=124000

Excuse me but your link shows .02 and .03 difference than what I posted. Let's get technical why don't you. Different sites will give numbers that can be slightly off.

He was in the top 15 in holds the last 2 years

Okay mister stat how many did he blow?

I didn't bother to look up the stats on blown saves, but do you call that good numbers, 20 blown saves the last 3 1/2 years?

But some see him as a liability..

...and 17 walks in 37 innings!

If you can throw out something worth arguing over then let me know.

Cordero has 25 blown saves the last 3 1/2 years....everybody always says he does such a good job...

So you didn't bother to look up his stats but put out bogus numbers (which are stats) about him blowing 8 or more saves??

All the supporters on here are apologists. Who is too blame for this decade of futility. You guys have a stat or excuse for everyone. There are two players on this team (field players) that are high caliber players. Votto and Phillips, other than that, Hanigan is decent, and everyone else blows. The pitching has also waned lately, including Mr. Weathers. If you guys are diehard Reds fans, the most important stat to you should be Ws and Ls. But the apologists will look past that stat, for some reason. Please tell me if its not his fault and nots everyother hack on this teams fault, then why ye faithful has this team not had a winning record in a decade? It has to be someones doing.

They have quit. They deserve any bashing dealt out. A real fan is not at all happy with what is going on woth this club right now.

My thoughts exactly. This team is not worth watching right now, how can a major league team go 1-14 in their last 15 games? Call me bandwagon if you want, but a real fan does not sit there and watch the games and accept this pathetic excuse for an MLB team.
