July 17, 200917 yr I have the power of jinx, and tonight proves it. I tune in after working late, and it's 3-2 when I turn on the TV in the garage and start setting up to ride the exercise bike. I think to myself, "Well, Homer's not doing bad, and one run's not too huge a deficit, even for this offensively challenged team." So I go inside to change into some workout clothes, grab some water and use the bathroom, come back out and it's 7-2. :irked: I do have other examples that really hammer the point home, but can't really share in open forum.

July 17, 200917 yr I was looking through some of the offensive splits for the Reds. I knew their offense was bad but I was really suprised by something. Most of the focus has been on how bad the left side of the infield is but I was shocked by how bad their outfield has been. It seems like Dickerson has been okay and the Gomes/Nix platoon has been adequate as well but look at the overall numbers. Reds outfielders as a unit: 1029 At Bats 134 Runs 31 Homeruns 97 RBIs 22 Stolen Bases .237 Avg .299 OBP .385 Slg .684 OPS 396 Total Bases Albert Pujols by himself: 307 At Bats 73 Runs 32 Homeruns 87 RBIs 10 Stolen Bases
