Maybe that's it.I look at Taveras as Corey Patterson's right-handed twin. Hairston and Neifi are both slap-hitting utility players that Dusty likes at the top of the order. The funny thing is that Hairston didn't enjoy this "favored veteran" status in Chicago but has gotten the benefit of Dusty's doubt in Cincinnati.
