USA Today's BCS Projections

Featured Replies

I'll be attending the USC/OSU game this year and can't wait! Bieng a Michigan fan I will be cheering for anyone who plays against OSU:lol:.

I hate the big ten now. Were so weak now compared to the SEC powerhouse's and other teams like USC. Im so tired of seeing big ten teams going to bowl games and gettting embaressed. Of course it would be nice if my Wolvs would even make it to a bowl game.:madman:

Man I can't think of anywhere better to be than the 'Shoe, during a game where OSU is getting demolished! And until the Big 10 gets some speed, they will always be 2nd rate as far as BCS conferences go. Penn State had to build a team for 4 years to get the kind of speed that looked like a contender. And then USC took them to the woodshed.

I do think that if UM faithful give Rich Rod enough time, I think you will see a team that can really control the Big 10. If he gets enough time, I could see OSU and UM being a really big game again nationally.

OSU and USC twice in one year kinda kills the build up. Love UC and Bama.

I agree.

Flip out Alabama for Ole Miss and I'll take it.

I'll take Florida in the title game, and while Texas looks like a good pick I think it is still wide open for the second spot. Finally after years of getting jobbed, and after the Aurburn fiasco a few years ago, the Bowl Committee realized that a one or two loss SEC team is normally as good if not better than a sometimes undefeated team. No way do I see the Gators going undefeated being they play in the SEC, but I think with what they return they should make it back to the big game regardless of whether they lose a couple.

National Championship:

Florida vs. Texas

Fiesta Bowl:

Oklahoma vs. TCU

Sugar Bowl:

Alabama vs. Cincinnati

Orange Bowl:

Virginia Tech vs. Notre Dame

Rose Bowl:

Ohio State vs. USC

I'm taking USC and UF in the title game, Georgia Tech to win the ACC, West Virginia to win the Big East, Penn State to win the Big Ten and Boise State, not TCU, to make a BCS Bowl. But I like those matchups.

Don't see those teams making BCS games.

I'll honestly be surprised if UC doesn't win the Big East.

We will see how the game goes but I would agree thats why were glad the coaching staff is willing to adapt to change. What is your take on the big 12? How much do they impress you?

The Big 12? To be honest, I'm kind of torn on the conference. I love to watch their games because, though I know defense is where champs butter their bread, offense is way more enjoyable to watch. I like the abstract thinking that says "We'll just outscore you!".

If you are asking which conference I think is better I obviously think the Big 12 is better than the Big 10. I think that the Big 12 is the 2nd best conference in the country in terms of depth. But, if it makes sense I think that the Pac-10 is better suited to produce a champion because of the athletic differences in the two conferences. Yesterday I was watching a couple of USC's games from last year and I really don't see how anyone didn't think they belonged in the title game. I think they were even to UF (and I feel better), and atleast 10 points better than OU, Texas, Utah.

Like I've said many times, the ACC is conference to watch, they improve every day. I think they end up as the SEC's main rival, because I think they will end up having the speed of the Pac-10 with the overall depth of the Big 12.

Don't see those teams making BCS games.

You dont see USC making it how? I am just curious of your opinion.

I would really much like to see my Trojans play an SEC team this year in a bowl game. They should have been playing UF last year:irked:.

They have the real beef from last year IMO. I actually think they may have beat OU or Texas by 30 or more. If they would take their schedule seriously they might meet the SEC champion annually for the MNC.

I just don't see them winning the Pac-10 this year. They have owned that watered down conference for the past 5 years, but now I look for another team to knock them off.

Didn't that watered down conference have a really good showing during bowl season? And the only way I see USC losing the conference is if they just don't show up. Most teams just don't have the talent to play with them.
