USA Today's BCS Projections

Featured Replies

National Championship:

Florida vs. Texas

Fiesta Bowl:

Oklahoma vs. TCU

Sugar Bowl:

Alabama vs. Cincinnati

Orange Bowl:

Virginia Tech vs. Notre Dame

Rose Bowl:

Ohio State vs. USC

I'm taking USC and UF in the title game, Georgia Tech to win the ACC, West Virginia to win the Big East, Penn State to win the Big Ten and Boise State, not TCU, to make a BCS Bowl. But I like those matchups.

Honestly, when is the Notre Dame love affair going to be over?

Honestly, when is the Notre Dame love affair going to be over?

When they stop bringing more $$$$$ than the alternative to the respective bowl games. Make no mistake about it, if the Irish are BCS eligible their in, plain and simple. Or have you forgot what the BCS is really about?

Good point, I just find it ridiculous that they continue to receive BCS bids and get beat. They have not won a bowl game since 1994 and they get treated as if they are one of the dominant football teams of recent times.

OSU and USC twice in one year kinda kills the build up. Love UC and Bama.

I fixed that for you.

It'd be a massacre both times.

Agree time for 8 or 16 team playoff. I think the BCS is full of BS.

In ND's defense they do have a very formidible team. Charile's put together quite a nice offense. A lot of his problems were Ty Willingham, sure Samardjzia, McKnight, Zbikowski and Quinn were there, but once those guys left the Irish were extremely dry. He's been able to attract top talent since he's been there and I think this year you may see one of his teams live up to the expectations. They won't beat USC, but they should really only lose 1 game with their schedule, although that probably won't happen.

It'd be a massacre both times.

We will find out in about 9 weeks huh?

It's a given isn't it?

You all said that about Texas as well but as an OSU fan im glad were not taking a true freshman to SC to play against a first round draft pick this year.

Yep, and if it's within 20 points either time, I'll be shocked

That wasn't your problem, you couldn't move the ball either way...USC was just too good. What happened against Penn State, Illinois, Florida and LSU in the past few years?
