Agree with that, anything north of Pendleton County I have always considered Southern Ohio, different environment,people and gas prices for sure.

Different people? Nice. If you want to meet really nice people, move to south Georgia. The KY and West VA border is also a nice area.

I don't know about other NKY folks, but I am extremely happy that the rest of the state views us more as Ohioans than Kentuckians...:idunno:

After oil drops another 2 dollars the gas gouge in NKY is slowing. We are now in the 2.50's and that is with $50 oil approaching. It is in the high 2.30's over in OH.

2.47 in Mayfield.

$2.45 at the UDF and Marathon in Wilder by the theater.

$2.49 this morning in Crittenden, and it pumped very slowly. So slow that I stared at the sign for fresh coffee long enough, I went in and bought one. They got me.

Filled up for $2.44 in Alexandria this morning....Yesterday it was $2.57 in Owenton....I thought NKY had such extreme prices?? :confused:

Filled up at Bp In Bellevue this afternoon for 2.68 a gallon, could have sworn it was at 2.38 last night.

Gotta fill up in a couple of hours. Where's it cheapest in NKY today?

Still in the 2.60's in Erlanger and Union, probably Florence as well. Apparently Alexandria is the best deal. Low 2.40's over in Cincinnati.

Driving to work today I saw prices ranging from $2.49 on Industrial Rd to $2.69 on route 18 in Florence.

 

Strange but true, the BP on Route 18 and Mall road is charging $2.69 a gallon (large company store) while the Mom and Pop BP on Dudley near St. E's Hospital is charging only $2.56.

 

Agree with the low $2.40's in Cincinnnati and thats my rub, the Ohio gas tax is much, much higher than in Ky.

 

Gas on 18 is ranging from the BP @ 2.69 to Shell and Speedway @ $2.59.

Just returned from the Pikeville area, filled up for $2.20 a gallon.
