I picked up some great stuff while on vacation at a fantastic record store on the Michigan State campus called “Flat, Black and Circular.” Most everything I got was $1, including:

“Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere” by Neil Young

“Boy” by U2

“Déjà vu” by CSNY

“Riding With The King” by John Hiatt

“Bring The Family” by John Hiatt

“Last Time Around” by Buffalo Springfield

Stephen Stills S/T

“Tattoo You” by The Rolling Stones

A couple were more than a buck, but not by much:

“The Wall” by Pink Floyd (2 records, $3)

“Live/1975-85” by Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band (5 records, $6)

“Tommy” by The Who (2 records, $2)

These are ones I already had but picked up to pass along to friends:

“Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere” by Neil Young (the one listed above is an earlier pressing)

“Some Girls” by The Rolling Stones

“Unforgettable Fire” by U2

“Born To Run” by Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band

“(Darn) The Torpedoes” by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers (x2)

I hadn't heard of them before I saw them play live and was immediately impressed so I bought one of their albums: "This is Somewhere" by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. It's pretty good, I've enjoyed it, but I felt they were much more impressive live.

I've enjoyed what I've heard from the band over their past couple releases, and have thought about diving deeper into their stuff.

I've been listening to some Deer Tick as of late, and have recently got hooked on Fleet Foxes

The last two I have picked up are:

Roadhouse Sun - Ryan Bingham

Excitement Plan - Todd Snider

Also, right now anything by Justin Townes Earle is in heavy rotation.

I am a strictly Rap/R&B man, but lately I have been listening to a lot of The Postal Service.

Not sure if this is up your alley or not,but my recent downloads have been:

Live in Concert...The James Gang

Quadrophenia....The Who

Surrealistic Pillow....Jefferson Airplane

Still Alive and Well....Johnny Winter

Hmmm...just reminded me....need this one and 4 Way Street....thanks.:thumb:

I repurchased Steve Earle's 'Transcendental Blues'. I lost mine (or loaned it out), but I forgot how good this album is.

I just purchased the 'Chickenfoot' CD and it is pretty good.

Toad the Wet Sprocket 'Dulcinea' (one of my favorite albums)

Driving to Gulf Shores in a couple of weeks and need some new road music for the ipod to drown ourt the kids.

Planning on picking up some Kings of Leon.

I'm planning on picking up Patterson Hood's new release Murdering Oscar today. Anybody else listened to it?

I haven't heard the whole thing, but I heard him play some songs from it and they were solid. I was pleasantly surprised.

I'm really looking forward to next week's release of the new Wilco album (self-titled, interestingly enough).

Atreyu lately for me. I really don't know why. They are a great band though.
