June 28, 200917 yr Homer threw 106 pitches in 5 innings, and walked 7 batters. The good news he didn't give up too many hits and stands to get the win.
June 28, 200917 yr Chris Heisey was 1-5 in his first start for Louisville tonight. E5 was 2-4 on his rehab
June 28, 200917 yr Nice win for the Reds tonight. Maybe they can win the series tomorrow. I've been gone for a while, but remember when Harang beat the Nats and people thought it couldn't have been possible that it was stupid for him to go back out after a rain delay that lasted over 2 hours? Where are they now?

Where are they now? I'm right here....He came back after 2 hours against the Astros first off His starts since 4 1/3 8 runs 8 3 runs 7 2/3 0 runs 2 0 runs 7 3 runs 4 2/3 7 runs (5 earned) Looks to me like he's had more good starts since that rain delay than bad starts...
June 28, 200917 yr IMO Homer stays up on the roster. He has proven that he's above AAA. He also showed velocity tonight that we haven't seen previously (95 to 98). He showed that IF he throws strikes he's hard to hit. So now its a matter of him figuring out that MLB players have a better command of the strike zone than AAA and he needs to be aggressive. He can't get that by going back to Louisville.

Where are they now? He isn't pitching bad, he just gets no run support. Sure he throws a clunker out there every so often but he's got a sub 4.00 ERA.
June 28, 200917 yr I usually watch many games on Directv, channel 661, but this year, can't get into watching this team at all. Turn it on and last about 2-3 batters and I am bored out of my mind. Last year, probably watched close to 1/2 of the games. This year maybe 5-6 at best. The team does not interest me at all. Glad to see that the offense is doing so much better without Dunn and Jr.

It depends I guess on what is considered a good start. I would take 7 innings and 3 runs every time from him and it is at the least a quality start, but they wouldn't win a ton of those games. We're not going to count the 2 inning start right? 33 2/3 giving up 19 eaned runs 21 total runs since the rain delay and that's counting the 2 innings.

One excellent start, two good ones and two atrocious ones ...
