Guy's numbers are nothing spectacular, but when it comes down to winning games, he delivers. Whether it is Chad's fault or not the Bengals are not good, as the vocal self proclaimed leader of the Bengals, he has not proven much to me. Some guys are able to elevate an entire team by their presence.... I do not see that in him. How many WR's have ever done that? WR is the most dependent position in all of sports. You cannot win a game as a WR, considering you only touch the ball on average 7 or 8 times a game. Sorry but blocking a CB only does so much.
June 19, 200917 yr :thumb: Chad is easily one of the nicest, most down to Earth pro athletes I've met. The only one that I would say is better is Dhani Jones. No one sees that though. The first time I met him, me, Chad and some of my friends made fun of Corey Dillion...to Dillon's face. It was all in good fun, but that is a cool experience.

Remove him from the lineup and the Giants go from being the clear cut favorite to barely able to win another game. When the lights were on, Plax would deliver such as in the NFC title game; his numbers are nowhere near Chad's. It is not just about numbers. The Giants collapse, IMO had as much to do with the distraction of Plax's problems as it did with missing him. As for winning how would we know. The Bengals only do that about 5 or 6 times a season. Hard to compare a guy that is on one of the most talented teams in the league like Burress was to a guy that's on the Bengals. Chad makes plays. Like I said, no WR has ever been able to carry a team for an entire season.
June 19, 200917 yr Chad is a winner IMO, thats why he does the things he does. There is no worse place to be in the NFL if you really want to win, and yes that includes the Lions. The Bengals are poorly run, and built nothing off the momentum they had a few seasons ago. What has he won?

Like I have always maintained, when he comes out this year and has a great year, people will be right back on the CJ bandwagon, it happens all the time! Don't like him because he takes away from the game. He would be more well liked if he would just shut up and play.

I have to say.....as a Tim Duncan fan, his numbers are spectacular....he started his career with 8 straight 20 PPG 10 RPG years, and hasn't slowed down. But I understand what you are saying :thumb:
June 19, 200917 yr Author To those defending Chad Johnson I don't know what to tell you. Football is the ultimate team sport! Chad Johnson would be great in the WWE or even better THE XFL!!! It's all about Chad. Poor Chad when he sucks, underperforms and the media is on him. I love his passion and loved the old Chad that worked his rear off and didn't talk. At least he's working again... that I am happy about. I wish he would shut up and produce though! NFL=Team sport CJ=XFL (he and He Hate Me would have gotten along great) I hope he shuts up and produces. I will be excited for him if he does. I think he is coming back in great shape and could explode this year which isn't what he has been doing.

They haven't won a playoff game in most of your alls lives!! You don't know if Chad wants to win.. Heck I say if he wanted to win he would have left this sorry excuse for a franchise.
