June 15, 200917 yr I do feel sorry for the 2 older twins. I'm sure being in front of a camera all of the time gets old. Yes, she could wait for a drink of water. Children do it all of the time in school. As far as my child running out in a parking lot, I would grab the shirt, pants, whatever I could grab, and not think a thing about what anyone thought.

These days people go over board on what kids should and shouldn't do and bring it all back to discipline and everything is wrong when it's done to a child anymore. Then did fertility and and got pregnant with 6.TLC followed them around and gradually you notice their lifestyles changing. ( I think b/c of the money). Now the big deal is that Jon the husband cheated or whatever and now they are scrutinized about everything. I like it b/c I like watching the kids. I do give the mom props b/c she is so schedule oriented. I have 2 kids and can't get it together like she can with her 8.::irked:

And thinks to the miracle of fertility drugs they have the ability to "parent" 8 kids who are likely to turn into numerous billable hours for some lucky shrink in the near future.

There are 8 kids there...EIGHT!!! That would have been a disaster. Its not like you can just have them pass it down the line. Inevitably, one is going to take a bigger drink than the other, so one will grab the for the bottle, and a someone is going to end up with hurt feelings. It'll take a couple of minutes to get that one to stop crying, and while that's going on, there won't be any more water left in the bottle and you have a whole big storm again b/c a couple of them didn't get a drink. OR...you can deny them, get the interview over with, and then they can all drink water to their hearts content.
June 17, 200917 yr Was she not going to give her a drink right at the end but then says "We can't right now, we are going on" ? ( She even started reaching for her bottle of water) I agree the show and the parents are ridiculous but I also agree with others on here, this is NOT a big deal.
June 17, 200917 yr I think that there is a LOT of irony in the fact that going on TV was more important for this moron than giving her kid a drink. However--I am not sure that is actually worse than the people who seem to think that this trainwreck of a show is "interesting" or "reality". What people obviously fail to realize is that by denying this kid some water ... these knuckleheads got you to do exactly what they want you to do--TALK ABOUT THEM!
