I am sure this too will be blown way our of proportion. I must be a bad mom, I would have done that too. Here is why. As soon as she would have let one have a drink...they all would have wanted one and it would have been a disaster come time to be on air. Now I don't think she should have taken the drink in front of her since she was thirsty. But she was the one that would be doing all the talking in the interview. And you clearly hear her say, that when the interview was over they all were getting drinks. Everyone is just looking for the stupidest things to say about this family now. Simply denying her water till the interview was over is not wrong.

I must also be a bad mom, I agree completely with all you've said.

I deny my kids stuff all the time. I can't wait until we see the RED RAMBLER DENIES SONS CAKE FOR BREAKFAST you tube video to come out.

I don't like the woman, but this really is not a big deal at all.

I believe she was in the wrong over the whole thing. She is a hateful woman and we do not know all that goes on off camera. Would it have been so wrong to give that girl a drink of water? I think not, and more importantly, if every kid had wanted a drink I'm pretty sure they could have spared the 1 minute it would have taken and gave them all a drink of water. And then she gets a bottle of water and takes a drink..

I personally cannot stand those two parents and their show, but come on! If they were outside in the heat it would've been one thing, but that little drama queen girl talking about being dehydrated is another. Like Mrs. FF said, if she had given her a drink, everyone would've wanted a drink, someone would have poured it all over their shirt, somebody would've had to go potty, etc. I tell you this much, if someone followed me around and took everything I tell my kids out of context, well social services would probably be at my door!

I agree! We do not know all the facts, could that child already taken a drink even just a few seconds before the tape began as we saw it? No one knows for sure. You also hear her ask for some more drinks for everyone, as you also pointe out they were ready to go on air. Anyone can start and stop the video at the time of their choosing to make anyone look like a jerk, or in this case a bad parent. LOL, how many times have kids told their parents they are mean or bad? LOL.

It just amazes me how much people watch every single move this family makes. LOL, I just watch the Roloffs, but I dont sit there and analyze everything, actually anything they do, if a TV family just does normal stuff, it's BORING, and it wouldnt be a show, there is ALWAYS acting going on, AKA DRAMA!

I tell my kids that the word "MOM" stands for "Mean Old Mommy"!:D If I'm not making my kids mad at me occasionally, then I'm not being a very good parent, IMO.

we do not know all that goes on off camera.

My post above adresses this, NO ONE knows what goes on off camera, I am sure they girl, as has been stated, is just being a little drama queen, as most kids are at that age.

So it's unheard of for the mother to be a drama queen and an unfit mother, but it's completely natural to call the girl a "little drama queen" because she wanted a drink of water?

Yeah that completely makes sense!

Not of my own, but if you're getting ready to say "well then you don't know what it's like" or something along those lines then I should inform you that I do indeed know what it's like to have kids exaggerate when wanting something, and I do know that kids can be drama queens.

But what I do not understand is why no one thinks this woman can do know wrong, just give the kid a drink of water..Are we in a short supply or something, I mean is there a shortage or something?

As Red Rambler asked, you must not have kids! PLUS, you are MIS-QUOTING ME!

I said, MOST kids that age are little drama queens! Girls more so than boys from what I see and hear from parents of girls. Saying she is dehydrated, yeah ok she really looks it, lol. As many have said, things a child says to their parent taken out of context, AND, NO ONE, not even you or I knows when the last time that kid had a drink, it could have been seconds before the YouTube tape began. Why was it on youtube? Where is child services, if we hear from them and they charge her with stuff that's a different story. People are just out to get these people, many because they have no lifes of their own.
