I've heard that Dale has let assistant Charlie Barr go. Can anyone confirm this? He has a long history in coaching and I am sure he could help someone if he chooses to stay in coaching.

You got bad scoop.

Are not most of the kids at Trinity and St. X from Louisville?

His point was

1) Highlands plays in a large class than their enrollment.

2) Ft Thomas is not a large area. It is no where near as large as the greater Louisville area which T and X pull from. I do believe Highlands does allow open enrollment but I have no clue how many of the football player are part of that. Which I believe was the other part of what he was saying. Most of the players truely are within the school borders.

A large portion of T and X's student population is from the greater Louisville area which is all within Jefferson Co.

Perhaps, but I got it from a really good source.

EXACTLY! For the MOST part Highlands is the closest a school can be to saying......."we just work harder".

Highlands and Danville are alot alike...Both are Independent schools...The number one thing is they have the best coaching...Great Coaching equals Championships...Just look at Chuck Smith when he was at Boyle Co...Did He have the best athletes?No...He knew how to get his player to Win...

At Danville Coach Harp has been Blessed with some good athletes...But with out him controling the shots...I don't feel they would have the titles that they do...

Highlands is a great Program...They keep winning with great coaching...

Just My opinion...:thumb:

Highlands beats there opponents not only from August till December but January till July as well. And as we all know they have amazing coaching. They always play to their strengths they may have a team one year who will run 50 plays a game and the very next year they may have a team passing it 30 times a game. They can do either very effectively.
