Which is exactly why I'm against a class system for baseball. Keep the All A tourney, but let'em all compete for the big show. Once you get above a couple hundred students there is little correlation between school size and baseball success.

I think I saw this morning that of the top 25 there was only around 6 or 7 teams left.

Not in the Second and Third Regions. Christian County, Henderson County, and Madisonville are staples in the region finals of the Second Region and the Owensboro schools dominate the Third Region. Small schools there dont have much of a shot.

I have always thought in baseball the team with "lesser" talent will beat the team with "more" talent more often then other sports. Just the nature of the game.

Not necessarily. More than half of those 15 listed come from two regions, which means the teams were probably knocked out by other ranked teams.

I would agree with this statement. What was it? 12 out of the top 15 have lost? Now that's a huge number. IMO I think the polls are set much to early (BUT UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE), But the problem is it seems like it takes an act of congress to have new teams move in from around the state. Maybe this was just a coincidence it turned out this way. Now, I'm not knocking any school, I'm sure these were all good teams. IMO Baseball polls are much harder to pick than a football or basketball poll. I'm just glad I can give an opinion and not have to do it!
