May 26, 200917 yr Author Ok, I heard more about this at work this morning. He took the snake home "to make boots out of it." At home, he was drinking and decided he needed a picture with the snake's head in his mouth. He cut the snake's head off and asked his wife to take the picture. In the process of taking the picture, the venom sac burst and all the poison went down his throat. He had to be airlifted to Lexington. Noone knows his current condition...

May 26, 200917 yr Same here, I went to school with this person. Back in the 80's this guy's wheel was turning but his hampster was dead, or you could say he was not the sharpest tool in the shed. Over years it seems to have gotten worse. I remember this guy now. :thumb: Wow! Okay, I'm not surprised.
May 26, 200917 yr It's hard for me to laugh knowing he is in bad shape but it's amazing how dumb some people are. I have seen one rattlesnake in my life out in the wild. We were golfing and a friends ball was by it. We stayed back a bit watching it then got ready to go to the next hole. Some idiot with his wife were hitting into the green. We stayed there to warn them so they didn't stumble onto it. The guy came running with his putter. The snake slowly started rattling then he cocked back and whacked it just enough to set off what sounded like a machine gun. He ran like H! The guy working there killed it and gave the idiot the rattle. My friend and I said this just gave him the green light to do something that stupid again. Makes me wonder if this guy is in the family!

May 26, 200917 yr Part of me feels sorry for this poor guy, even without the hamster in the wheel, and part of me feels even sorrier for his wife. :ohbrother: Having seen the effects of rattlesnake venom on muscle tissue I can only imagine what damage it could do to your internal organs… :scared:
