May 26, 200917 yr I would certainly wish Meeks the best if he goes to the NBA but as first and foremost a college basketball fan, especially a Kentucky Wildcat fan I am selfish and want to see Meeks return. Lets see now and just supposing this starting 5 with Meeks coming back......(and this is just one possibility of a few that would look very good) pg- Wall 2g - Meeks c/f - Orton f - Cousins pf - Patterson :thumb::thumb::thumb: :popcorn: No way Orton would start over Darius Miller. Orton is VERY good and ultra talented, but Darius has been impressive under Cal.

May 26, 200917 yr Author Here is one blog that claims Meeks intends to stay in the draft - even as a 2nd rounder: http://theplaymakersblog.blogspot.com/2009/05/studio-54-closing-up-shop-at-uk.html
May 26, 200917 yr I did a search this morning for "NBA Mock Drafts" and went to 4 different sites. None of them had Meeks in the Top 60 (2 rds. of draft) or even on the bubble or radar. Didn't see his name even mentioned. Saw Clark/Williams (UL), Evans (Memphis), and Curry listed in the 1st round. Even had Calathes (Florida) in the low first round or high second round, but he is going to Greece now. If thats correct, then come on back Jodie and go for a Final Four appearance.
May 26, 200917 yr Nothing better than being told that a team might draft you with the 15th pick, then actually getting drafted in the second round. Meeks needs to come on back for one more great season! :thumb:

Only 1st round picks are guaranteed to get a contract I believe so it's best not to risk it.
