10th region draw

Featured Replies

I am going with:

GRC

Harrison

Bourbon

Nicholas

Harrison

Nicholas

Harrison

I think Nicholas wins without Mynear or Campbell against Mason County, uses Mynear to beat Bourbon and then has Campbell for the Championship Game. 3 of the 4 opening round games should be dandy's. Good luck to the Thorobreds and Coach W.

Did you know that Bourbon is no stranger to Mynear. He played on their team last summer.

Will there be radio for it this year? And if so could some possibly link it or PM me with it?

Nicholas also has that Workman kid that played for Bourbon's summer team the past few years that's a decent pitcher.

107.7 should be airing the GRC game.

I find this very hard to believe and find it very tough to see Nicholas advancing to the Championship. It doesnt matter who wins the Scott/Bourbon game, Nicholas will not beat either of those teams.

The same thing was said about Nicholas last year and they came out beat Mason and then got smoked by Scott in the Semi's. So picking Nicholas to get the the Ship is a bit far.:ohbrother:

I think it will be a toss up for anybody. Saw the Scott/Calvary game and Scott had to use Murray to save them that night. Mynear throws against Mason. You have to play to win and not the hope we can get by without having to use the ace. As for Bourbon you would think they will throw Rupard, Scott has to throw Murray, Campbell throws Sellers or Brenner(think thats his name) not sure about Clark or Mason. If Harrison is not hitting you better be able to field the bunt. There staff is pretty solid. But you never know in the game of baseball. Good Luck to all the teams next week.

I think Scott goes with Sowder or Hiller against Bourbon and uses Murray if needed.

Does that mean they can hit him or what?

With Harrison drawing Bracken first game they can save Martin and Dailey to pitch and have great relief pitching in Dye and Case. I believe Chasteen starts on Monday to get the win.

I look for the Harrison County Thoroughbreds to take the 10th region title this year.

You might be right Harrison County might win it this year. I do think however they might not be as lucky this year as last year weather wise. Last year because of rain the region got pushed back a little I believe and their Ace pitcher was able to pitch in every Regional game which definately helped them. I am not saying they don't have any pitching this year I believe they do because it is Harrison County just don't know if they have anyone as strong as the kid from last years staff.

I think if they pitched anyone else but the Martin kid last year in the Championship against Scott they probably lose but who knows it is baseball and anything can happen.

Scott barely gets past Calvary in Districts this year but they do and go on to defeat Campbell County in District Championship.

It will all be sorted out by Thursday next week good luck to all and let the games begin.

Harrison over Scott in the finals. Clark/Campbell will be a battle and deplete both teams. Harrison and Scott advance to finals pretty easily. Scott's close call with Calvary is not as much of an eyebrow-raiser as it would have been a few years ago. That Calvary team will be decent the next two years and will make it tough on Scott/CCHS/Brossart. But if Scott followers complain about bad luck with weather, they need to remember that luck has been in their favor at the draw the last 2 years.

If I was a betting man I'd say WCYN would have every game.
