Am I crazy but if you invite the television into your home day after day shouldn't you expect the bad stuff to come out also?

I like this show but wow too much information.:ohbrother:

Are you talking about the cheating?

I've heard some stories but I don't really follow these two. I'm not a huge fan of the show.

She's so mean, can't blame him

I wouldn't normally agree about that but she really is. But I really feel for those beautiful babies.

Why anyone gives 2 cents about these two idiots I will never know. TV has gone to hell.

TV went to hell a long time ago when MTV, VHI and other tv stations started showing non stop reality TV.

I actually enjoyed the show when it first started. This seems to be the norm anymore with reality television. Someone always cheats, it never fails. I don't necessarily care for either of them. However I don't think cheating on her is fair. He has publicly humiliated her. This is not the tabloids fault, it is his. He knew their life was in the public eye, he should have left her before he cheated on her. He could have avoided embarassing her in front of millions of people. I guess unfortunately when you become part of the public eye , you are expected to take whatever comes your way.

Apparently controversy is going to be even more intense because she is "allowing" him to have his other girlfriends, or whatnot, as long as they continue the show.

That would seem kind of pointless to the original show, but whatever.

Really? She must be getting some serious $$$ for taping the show. I'm sure she will make out quite well on the inevitable book as well.

For what it is worth, I used to watch the show.

$125k an episode..................

You realize she's cheating on him too. They both are cheating on each other....they both know about it. They are staying married to continue the show.

I might have to watch now. I heard they were both cheating, but has this been "confirmed" or something?

125K? Jeez. Well, who am I to cast stones as Ms. Gosling? That is a load of cash - and the future could be expensive as a single mother with eight kids to support. Jon should go along with it. Less child support to pay down the road.

HB- and I hope you don't think I'm picking on you, because I sort of agree with both statements- it is the mentality that we Americans have that we love to watch things crash and burn that have caused these so-called "reality" shows to be wildly popular. Every single one of them has an episode climax with someone throwing a humongous hissyfit, and the question that remains is whether the TV has conditioned us to be that way, or if it is just "art imitating life", revealing our desire to watch things go up in flames.

Now I can step off my soapbox.
