May 26, 200917 yr I'd say it does a little, but it's not like he is a great free throw shooter to begin with. And, he has to improve that area of his game. He has to make them at crunch time. Dwight Howard made a lot of big FT's down the stretch. Lebron had a chance to cut it to four and missed two. The vast difference between he and Kobe when it comes to closing games is the only reason Lebron isn't a unanimous choice as the game's top player. Kobe gets better as the game winds down. Lebron gets worse. I'm beginning to wonder if that's just not something you either have or don't have. Kobe has it. Lebron doesn't. It's a little like Brady and Manning. By all measurables, physical gifts, stats, etc., Peyton is superior. But, the bigger the stage, the better Brady is. Not so with Peyton. Cleveland needs a guy like Chauncey Billups, who can play second fiddle to Lebron and take and make the big shots down the stretch.
