Ariza and Gasol both made big plays in the 4th. I'm ready for Brown, or even Farmar, to get Fish's minutes. He is becoming a liability on both ends. JR Smith is THE most annoying player in the NBA today. He's never committed a foul... how in the world was he complaining on the baseline jumper he raped Kobe on ? Dhantay Jones... how was it not a flagerant shoving Kobe in the back? He did it on the alley-oop to him also. Lakers take back home court advantage. Huge win.

May 24, 200917 yr Author Ariza and Gasol both deserve a lot of credit for the win today. They were both great in the 4th quarter. Much better defense and rebounding in the 4th quarter also. They were down 79-72 to start the quarter. Bynum didn't see the court in the 4th quarter.

He's trying to break in there, he just doesn't have the big-time NBA experience that the rest of them have. Kobe and DWade both had Shaq to break them in, and LeBron well he just kind of figured it out on his own. Melo will possibly break in there shortly. I think Durant will be up there as well. The NBA is getting ready to be better than it's ever been. You have future HOF's on the back end of their careers in Shaq, Duncan, Garnett, Nash, Pierce. You have a great wave of top young talent in LBJ, DWade, Melo, Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Dwight Howard, Bosh and Co. And some player who could break in there such as Durant and Brandon Roy. And there are many more players that can be outstanding. Maybe top heavy as the league has ever been. Shaq, Duncan, LBJ and Kobe are all probably top 10 players when their done. To me Garnett has to be top 20 all-time, DWade, CP3, Howard and Melo could all end up somewhere in the top 40 or so of all time.

You have to credit Ariza for playing good defense on him in the 4th, and the team as a whole did a much better job of bottling him up. I can't say he isn't one of the top 5 players because he finally had a bad game today.

May 24, 200917 yr Author I got Kobe, LBJ, DWade, Paul, and now Melo. In no particular order...... I think the playoff Melo is here to stay. He has committed to defense and he can score and will be one of the best scorers in the NBA for many years. Howard has yet to fully develop offensively for me to put him in the top 5.
