Lakers retake home court advantage. I hope Yao isn't hurt seriously, lower body injuries for big guys like that can be trouble.

 

If Yao is limping tonight, he's done. He may play, but he will be rendered meaningless from this point on. It's going to hurt worse tomorrow.

 

Horrible call on Artest. More "past history profiling" taking place. He'll never be given the benefit of doubt after the Palace. I like him, but he's brought that on himself. The NBA will never let the Palace riot happen again and quite honestly, I don't blame them.

As for the Celtics/Magic matchup, the Celtics seem to miss KG in this series way more than they did in the Bulls series. If KG were healthy, he would be able to shut Dwight down enough to put the burden of scoring on Lewis and Turkoglu, which I know he had a good fourth quarter tonight, but I don't see Turkoglu doing that the entire series.

Also, I think that the Cavs are playing head and shoulders above any other team in the playoffs, they haven't truly been challenged in the playoffs so far and I don't see them losing in this series or in the Conference finals.

 

The Nuggets are playing extremely right now and I think they have what it takes to take the Lakers down; Chauncey Billups's impact on the team is unmeasurable. I think we are looking at a Cavs/Nuggets finals.

I think you have to beat the Lakers with defense. The Nuggets will try to run with them and that ain't gonna work.

Nuggets play some good defense, I think that with KG hurt, the Nuggest are the 3rd best defensive team left, behind the Rockets and Cavs.

 

Nuggets and Cavs haven't been challenged, but in some of their games most teams in the NBA wouldn't have been a challenge.

I simply can't see Denver beating LA. How does Denver stop the front court of LA? Kobe is better than Billups... LA is deeper... I just can't see Denver beating them in a 7 game series.

The Nuggets haven't played better defense than the Lakers all year and now all of a sudden they will? It should be a great series, but I think the diffence will be Odom, Gasol, and Bynum inside, not Chauncey Billups. The Nuggets are a much improved team with Billups at the point but time and time again we see that it takes battle tested teams who have been there and know how to win in order to win a series like this. Chauncey will not be enough to overcome an entire Laker team that has the hunger(much like last year's Celtics) to erase the taste of last year's bitter loss in the finals. Kenyon Martin and Chauncey Billups are the only Nuggets with this kind of playoff experience. JR Smith's inexperience and immaturity very well could be the downfall for the Nuggets against the Lakers. It should be fun though, I just don't think the Nuggets are ready yet and Geoge Karl is likely to be out coached by Phil Jackson......again.

 

The game the Nuggets lost was a game won on a shot with 2 seconds left in the 4th and Carmelo's last second half court shot to win it hit the rim. The Nuggets also tied an NBA record with a 58 point blowout which is something the Cavs haven't done. Neither team has or will be tested until the next round regardless of whether or not they lose any games in the 2nd round.

 

Plus, you hate Kobe, you aren't going to truly give the Lakers any credit for the season they have had.......

Everyone destroys the Laker's pg's, that's no secret, but 1 person will not beat the Lakers.

The Lakers were 3-1 against the Nuggets this year, 2-1 with Billups in the lineup.

Actually I think that is the best matchup for Fisher, hes the only one strong enough to guards Billups.
