Yankee Stadium

The best part about the Yankees staff is they paid about a billion dollars for them, and they are god-awful. So I guess that makes them the worst staff money can buy...

Don't forget that the Jays are absolutely on fire to start off the season. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in it all year long in the AL East.

They are a very dangerous team. I really thought they would be the team to crash the party last season instead of the Rays.

Exactly, there are over 120 games left, and still lots of pitching to come. Also it gives time for the Reds staff to have their fall out like always.:thumb:

So what's your excuse for my team being in the ALCS last year and winning 2 of the best 5 titles, while the Yanks are choking every year?

This thread has more posts not about Yankee Stadium than about it lol!

Yeah Hammer..that was my point. Or maybe I was talking about some folks counting out teams....in April.

Nobody in this thread counted out the Yankees? The Reds have been counted out a few times but not the Yankees..

That's what you've kept saying the last 2 seasons. How did they turn out? I'm having a hard time remembering........

Why is a Yankee fan worried about the Reds pitching staff? The only time you would need to worry about that is if they face off in the World Series, and neither the Yankees or the Reds will be playing in the 2009 Fall Classic.

Also it gives the Yankees plenty of time to disappoint and continue to play as horrible as they have been.

If the Reds don't make the playoffs it is because their offense let them down and not their pitching staff as their pitching is one of their strong points. As for the Yankees there offense will always be there but it depends if there pitching is there or not and as of right now it isn't. If the Yanks don't make the playoffs its because there pitching let them down and if thats the case then the Yankees basically spent millions of dollars and just flushed it all down the drain with the people they have brought in this offseason.

As for talking about the Yankees being the postseason more recently than the Reds.... the past is the PAST and has no bearing on current times. Hell if that were case, then somebody should have told that to the Rays last year when they won arguably the best division in baseball and won the AL Pennant. You play one season, one game, one play, one at bat, and one pitch at a time in baseball. The past is virtually worthless when it comes to beginning a season as everytime starts off with the same record and each has the hope and desire to see themselves crowned the World Series Champions at seasons end. As of right now the Reds are playing much better than the Yankees and as of right now deserve the nod of being better than the Yankees. Will that be the case at seasons end? Maybe not, but right now that is the case no matter how you look at it.

Joe, you pay attention to your team and I'll do the same, if you want to quote me go ahead but post the quote. If you want to bash my

team go ahead but don't bash me...please. I'm suffering enough.

LRCW, 2 outs and a hall of fame pitcher needing one out and he delievers one right down the pike, we lose,

Up 6-0 pitching as usual lets us down we lose.

Last nite the team just quit, at least the pitching didn't give up a football score.

OK, I'm totally lost now. I still understand how this has anything to do with the Reds pitching staff.

LRCW.... nothing about the Reds, its a Yankee thread and I was just crying hoping I can find someone to feel sorry for the 4 or 5 Yankees fans on here.

I know nothing about the Reds. Hope that clears up.
