April 15, 200917 yr I could see myself without her. her mom has pushed for it more than anything I really think we are a doomed couple I don't think she wants to get married either I don't think you need us to advise you on the next move. That being said, there's nothing wrong with getting a second opinion. Are you related to Yoda???
April 15, 200917 yr On one hand, I do love her, but I could see myself without her. And there's your answer my friend. I'm not married, but IMO when that special lady comes along, I won't be able to imagine not being with her.
April 16, 200917 yr Yeah, so I have been engaged for a couple of months now and am starting to really wonder if it was the right thing to do. At the time, it really seemed like the only thing to do, but that certainly wasn't the case. We have rushed things it seems like, and we are really starting to find out each other's major flaws. I truly love her, but really have no idea what to do. Any advice? It is natural to have second thoughts. The best thing to do is take your time and make sure it is right for the both of you. That is the same advice I gave to my youngest son and his fiancé.

April 16, 200917 yr DO NOT GET PRESSURED INTO IT! This is probably the single most important decsion you are going to make if you are serious about marriage. You have pretty much spelled it out on here that you aren't ready right now and it sounds like she isn't. Take your time and delay it. DO NOT GET RUSHED INTO IT!!! Talk to each other about why you want to be married to each other and figure out what it is that is making you think you are not. Weigh it out from there. Most people I know had cold feet at some point so you want to make sure that isn't it but if it's bad now then it will only get 1000000 times worse if you rush into it! Take your time! If her mother can't handle that then to bad for her mother...
