April 14, 200917 yr That doesn't seem fair to lose your scholaship and have to sit out a year. Thanks for the info. Sure it does. If a guys not contributing on the floor and living up to his end of the bargain, why not yank his scholarship. They do it all the time for academic scholarships.

Very good anology, academic probation and then your scholly is pulled. How many are allowed to dress whether it be Scholarship or Walk-On? Is there a limit to how many kids UK can have on the roster?
April 14, 200917 yr If Kentucky keeps Orton and Patterson comes back, I see no reason for Harrelson to want to stay unless he wants to ride the bench all year. With Patterson, Cousins, Orton, Pilgrim and Stephenson, there would be absolutely no playing time for Harrelson. Nothing against you personally, because I see it a lot, but it is Stevenson.

April 14, 200917 yr Not positive, but I think only 15 can dress... I think there is a limit on road games, not during home games.

He doesn't seem to fit in Cal's offense.
April 14, 200917 yr Stevenson will fighting for a couple of minutes this season. He doesn't seem to fit in Cal's offense. Cal doesn't appreciate players who travel every time they pick up the ball after having dropped it?
April 14, 200917 yr Cal doesn't appreciate players who travel every time they pick up the ball after having dropped it? Or have it ripped from him by the opponent over and over.
April 14, 200917 yr Has it occurred to anyone that Carter may use his medical redshirt year to play this coming season? He has, after all, been to all the practices.
April 14, 200917 yr Stevenson will fighting for a couple of minutes this season. He doesn't seem to fit in Cal's offense. If Coach CAL gets the players he is going after just do not see Steveson getting any or hardly minutes at all.

April 15, 200917 yr I believe Maggard at some point had said Carter could stay for a 5th year without taking up a scholarship if he applied and was granted a RS year after his senior year. So basically, gaining a de facto 14th scholarship for this coming year. It didn't seem right to me, but I'm fairly sure thats what was said. Can anyone confirm/deny?
April 15, 200917 yr Since Carter is graduating, does that take up a scholarship if he decides to redshirt?
