AAU 14U KY State Tournament (4/25-4/26)

I think the NKY Flash could come out of another pool. Ogle is a great coach and they play tough man 2 man defense!

Eh, it's hard to live and die by one player.

I've seen him be on and the team look like one of the best in the state. Other times I've seen him be off and the team look like a 6th grade team playing 8th graders.

Very true. But, this team with one player made the Final Four last year. I would not be so quick to count them out. Scrappy team that just gets after it.

When they were 6th graders, without the player in question, they were in the quarters and 1 point from the semis.

They are a really good team... My group has run into them twice at full strength, won one and lost one... Another time they won when we had starters out. They definitely bring it. Watched them a few weeks ago, come back from 5 or 6 under a min. to Wolfpack and beat them in two OT's.

Where are most of the kids on the Flash from???

2 Beechwood

1 St Henry

1 Cincinnati

What about the NKY Flight or River City Hurricans? Any help would be appreciated. We will be starting 2 6th graders and a 7th grader so it will be tough. Asher has moved back to Indiana as well.

Who? Is Asher from Clinton County?

Hurricans are TOUGH.. Flight play to their competition...

Asher was MVP of the two biggest tourneys in our area during the middle school season. He played in about 8-10 varsity games as well. He played terrible in the 8th grade state and has since moved to Indiana with his mom.

Good luck to everyone this weekend! We are going to see some great games.

Let's get it on!! :ylsuper::ylsuper:

Great to meet some of you guys today! Good luck to everyone tomarrow, very proud of the Bulldogs. 2-1 and playing tomarrow, didn't even have a room.

I look for the Flash and Madison County to meet in the finals with Madison County winning it all in DII.

In DI, the KY Elite should overcome the Ville in the Championship.

I've got the River City Hurricanes winning it all.. IMO they should be D1 but they are stacked either way.

I think The Ville will pull of D1..

I like the Hurricanes in DII and the KY Elite in DI.

Elite didn't play well today. Look for a much better effort tomorrow and shorter rotation.

Good to meet you today southernkyhoops!
