They have the past couple of years. Don't know about Hoop Dreams since they lost Braxton McFarland and weren't competitive last year with him in D1. Madison Colonels, in my opinion, should play D1 because Dominique Hawkins is supposedly playing with them (Richmond Stars are not a team this year, I hear).
April 3, 200917 yr Don't count on NKY Warriors playing which is a major bummer. Over half the team will be on a WAshington DC 8th grade trip. Good luck to all the teams it looks like a great field.

April 6, 200917 yr I am sure that is good news for most. Did they indicate who had already signed up for D1? No, but I think they said that they already had 4, may be mistaken, but expected 2 more. Don't quote me on this, either way they seemed fairly certain that there would be no issue with both tourneys. It was stated that if they had enough for a pool, they'd have a tournament.

River City playing D1 or D2? Also, I heard The Ville easily won the Super Regional this weekend at the KBA, but how did other KY teams look (River City, Madison Colonels)? Heard Darrell Hicks was very impressive.

April 6, 200917 yr I saw River City is playing at Scott County this weekend. You have both a U13 and U14 team??????? I just found out that the River City team in the Scott County tournament this weekend is the RC Celtics, a Louisville Trinity feeder team. They have a 13U and 14U team in the event.
April 7, 200917 yr I remember you mentioning that before. That is a bummer. Are the Warriors playing in any other tournaments in the near future? Hard to say, down to 8 kids and 3 or 4 play a lot of baseball. They will be back looking for a competetive summer league or some strong summer tourneys.
