KW Sexton of East Carter hit 23 in 1999 and finished with 35 or so for his career. East hit 93 as a team that year, 3rd all time nationally. I know everyone will say short porch, but the opponents hit only 4 at East Carter that year.

Paul Morse - head coach for Danville Independent has the high school record for homeruns, 56 I do believe.

I would go with Brandon Berger from Beechwood during my time. Hit some absolute bombs against us.

Shelby Co. won it in 1979. I played against them. We lost 5-3 in semi-finals.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Colin Cowgill from Henry Clay. That guy could rake his senior year.

Kevin hit one at Covington Catholic to left center field the 2nd house up on the road it, it hit the roof of that house. Charlie Leftin, the Reds scout was there and even told him after the game that was a RED SEATER for sure. He hit some bombs in HR contest at Reds game for high schoolers that Ross Backus of Holmes end up winning in Finals, but preliminary Kevin launched a few there which one went in to Yellow Seats.
