I agree completely. The game played between these two teams at Highlands was very physical because the refs allowed it to be. The physical play certainly seemed to favor HHS. IMO the way fouls are called in this game will go a long way in deciding the outcome.

Hopefully Boone Co just had a bad game against Highlands earlier in the season, but I consider this game a coinflip, which is also how I would view a Boone/Holmes game if both teams get there, I sure hope they do!

Boone didnt have a bad game, Highlands outplayed them in every aspect. I do think it will be much different tomorrow though.

 

IF George Grote isnt healthy for tomorrow's game the Birds will be at a major disadvantage. If they have everyone healthy it will be probably the best game of the tournament to this point.

What is wrong with Grote? I hear sickness has been going through several of Boone's players (flu/virus?) this past week or so.

I heard Grote has a stomach virus or something to that nature? I know Smith Keller didn't play last game either. Grote sat on the bench with a bucket next to him for the majority of the game.

Same thing is going through Boone. I believe at least 3 players have had it.

Its all over the tri-state to be quite honest. Have the kids wash their hands and drink plenty of fluids. I hope both teams are at full strength.This warm weather is perfect for spreading germs.

I look for the Birds to pull the upset. My always hazy crystal ball sees Grubbs using up all of the oxygen in the lane thus freeing up Kowolonek and Watson to go wild.

I do think ALOT of the Holmes faithful want to see a rematch with Boone though to prove it was just "one of those nights" out in Florence.
