March 29, 200917 yr I know Harang is starting on Opening Day but isn't the Reds rotation really: EV Cueto Harang Arroyo 4 man this year? :sssh:
March 29, 200917 yr John Fay Kent Mercker will work games on WLW beginning tomorrow. I'm not sure of the exact schedule. There's a chance that Mercker will be part of the regular season rotation as well.
March 29, 200917 yr There's a chance that Mercker will be part of the regular season rotation as well.[/i] That would be fantastic. He's going to be an excellent color guy if that's what he chooses to do...
March 29, 200917 yr Thought some might like this... ...Someone mentioned on another post concerns about Willy Taveras. He led off the first with an infield single -- raising his on-base above .400. Bronson Arroyo v. Scott Kazmir. It's only spring training, but over the last six games before Sunday's, Reds' starter had a 1.19 ERA.
March 29, 200917 yr This may well be the 1st winning season we have seen in a while. Heck, I might even pay to see a game. Go Reds!
March 29, 200917 yr This may well be the 1st winning season we have seen in a while. Heck, I might even pay to see a game. Go Reds! Never thought I would hear you say that. I am really scared about this team being able to score runs this year.
March 29, 200917 yr Never thought I would hear you say that. I am really scared about this team being able to score runs this year. The change in roster is the reason for the change in my outlook. As far as runs, Bruce and Votto have a year under their belts, so I see them improving. It really relies on 2 guys that are hitting the primes of their careers. Encarnacion and BP have to have big seasons. The pitching should be absolutely outstanding so they may win more of those games where they score 3 or less. I have always been a big Reds fan, I just really hated some of the personel the past 9 years.
March 29, 200917 yr Bronson gets lit up. Rays lead 5-2 now... Should have been more but Bruce gunned someone down at home. Kazmir jut hit a 3 RBI double.
March 29, 200917 yr Author Bronson said him and Ramon aren't exactly on the same page yet. Is Ramon calling too many hanging curveballs? Or is Ramon calling too many low to mid 80 fastballs? Whatever it is, I sure hope they can work it out.
March 30, 200917 yr Bronson said him and Ramon aren't exactly on the same page yet. If it continues to be a problem, does Hanigan catch Bronson?
