I know of an official that has finished in the top 3 of the Bluegrass the last several years and has not made it to Rupp. That is a farce. The BBA only getting one official to the Boys state tourney does not make much sense:laugh:

I know who you are talking about and you are right. The BBA should have two every year, they work for the two best regions in the state and other region schools love to come and play in those regions and besides of the good games it is also because of some of the BEST referee's in the state call here.:dancingpa

Why does the 10th and 11th get 1 and the 12th get 2? I understand that the 10th and 11th use the same refs, but they still should have a ref from each IMO.

I suspect one of the 12th Region officials may be the minority at-large choice. Tony Gray is, I am guessing, one of the 12th guys, and he is a good one.

 

Still, the 10th and 11th should get two officials ... one for each region.

Billman is a quality official and has finished in the top 3 of the region for many years in a row.

I think that Sandlin should go in front of those two.

It either should of been Sandlin or Coldiron from the 8th.

Just nice to see a lot of different people get an opportunity to go. Not fair seeing the same old faces every year. There is not a very big difference in the top 3 most of the time and it's good for everyone to get a chance to go to the big show!

An official will never work a team from their own region.:isurrender:

And also won't usually call the game to see who their region may play in the next round! They do a nice job with keeping all of that conflict of interest in check. Can't wait to get to Rupp this year to see all the action.

No they can't do games in which the team from their region is playing, but If they could I would say we could here Dale hammering on Billman from the top of Rupp. :lol:
