43 days!!!!

We had a productive booster meeting last night. We also had the opportunity to tour the remodeled locker room. FANTASTIC. The old smelly carpet is gone, everything is cleaned, painted and the floors redone. The lockers have been updated. Coach and his staff have done a wonderful job moving this project along.

Lifting starts again Monday morning (Youth Camp in the evening Mon - Wed.) and mandatory practice starts Thursday. There will be a mandatory parent meeting with Coach at 5pm on Thursday. Hope to see the stands full!!!

What time is the skills camp?

:thumb::thumb: To both of you and all GC fans. I didn't want that post taken wrong. I was really complimenting the GC fan base and personally am glad to see the interest back, it certainly has been a long time since I have seen this much interest in GCHS football.

 

It is Very exciting to see all the support, excitement and improvement in such a relatively short period of time.

 

We in Greenup County are going to be able to say we have 3 Class programs, Russell and Raceland are already there and GCHS is well on its way, all we need our boys and coaches to do is keep building a solid disciplined program and then win ball games.:thumb:

The Boosters are having a work day this evening at 5pm at the field. We will be cleaning out one of the sheds under the bleachers. (Preparing for the new bleachers to be installed.) Any and all help will be appreciated!

Great, Had a huge turnout. Coach was very pleased with the numbers and also with alot of the future talent he saw.

It was great seeing all the future musketeers at the skills camp last night. We had a great turnout.

 

Work on the field is progressing. Located and replaced a majority of the sprinkler heads. After the rest are repaired/replaced the field will be reseeded. The middle of the field is growing well, just some patchy areas on the sides to handle. Thanks to everyone who came out to work.

This is awesome. I hope that the numbers stay like that as they move to the high school team. I want to see my alma mater contending in 4A for Regional championships and beyond! I never got to play in a playoff game and I'd like to see the GC boys play 3 or more a year!:thumb:
