1. It was joke.

2. Apparently the kid didnt used to look like that since RP said he has been working really hard.

3. He redshirted his freshmen year. That gives me a sense of 1 or 2 things. Grades or medical. Or just maybe he wasnt ready to contribute at the D-1 level.

So instead of trying to be cool and sort of call someone out, why not shed some light on what type of player he is.

Freshman redshirts are rarely for grades or medical. They do this simply because the frosh is not ready to compete. He will be a much greater asset for the team his 5th year than his 1st.

I know one guy with arms like that, and he busts his tail in the weight room. He also gets a lot of help from steroids and other performance enhancing drugs.

Not saying Ashley is doing the same, I'm just saying. His arms are huge.

I'm interested to see his role with the Cards this upcoming season. It's hard to imagine a football player w/ that type of body on the sidelines.

One thing that I would be concerned with, is it appears he's spent more time on his beach muscles than one's he'll actually use. His arms look to be bigger than his legs...

17th ranked RB in college..

How many pounds we talking here?

It looks like he has put on a good 30-40 pounds of straight MUSCLE.

I definitely wouldn't want to be in front of that freight train.

Those calves look huge. Although I'd agree that the upper leg could use some work.

But then again, who am I to judge?

That one pic from HS where he was running on the track, he looks pretty big then too. What's his weight now compared to HS?

His calves are pretty large, plus it's tough to gauge the size of his legs by this photo. You could be right, but I seriously doubt that he has neglected to train functionally.
