Final from the 9th.

Almost unbelievable.

Wow

According to Litratings, CovCath was ranked a bucket or so ahead of Dixie.

Ouch :eyeonyou: Nice win Dixie :thumb:

Another surprising game in a surprising season in Park Hills. Congrats to Dixie on a very nice win. They must have been draining the 3-balls.

Dixie shot 70% in the second half and only missed one FT. Cov Cath didn't.......

Miss a free throw, or shoot 70%?

Not the season folks at CC are accustomed to, that's for sure. The 10-win mark is looking iffy.

Congratulations Dixie for a great win. The game was close at the end of the 3rd quarter and Dixie went on a big run. We have Cooper on Tuesday and Boone Co. on Fiday. Let's win 2 more going into the Districts.

How'd Hatton and Pike do in this one?

How'd Hatton and Pike do in this one?

Hatton was impressive in the JV game. Seems like he might force things at times, but overall nice. Pike did not stand out to me.

Incredibly disappointing varsity game if youre a CovCath fan. First half it was neck and neck, and down low Isler was dominating. At half he had ten. And that opened up more for the outside game. Second half, they come out and it is a total "I" effort. It was apparent there are a couple of kids out there playing for number one only. Should also mention Wellbrocks rebounds, I believe he ended up with 12. Needs to generate some offensive production...

Hats off to Dixie for shooting 70% in the second half. You all deserved this win!

Highlights from the game...

Lol the High School Playbook thing is comical. More time of the cheerleaders than the game. BTW those cheerleaders look thrilled to be winning by 20.

Not exactly "peppy" now were they?

My first time seeing Hatton. He looked very good. I thought Pike played well also. Cov. Cath. never gets a loose ball. It is amazing. When the ball is on the floor or contested in a scrum, the Colonels never come away with it. Coach L. has forgotten more about basketball than I will ever know, but I think it is long past time to be playing some of the better JV players to get them some PT at the varsity level for next year. If we are going to lose by double digits, I would prefer to see it done with players such as Conley, Schult, Robinson, etc along with Heimbrock who will be clawing and scrapping all the way to the final buzzer.
