Ram Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 What does Scott need to do to improve in 2009? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.
PureFan Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 I believe they have a strong QB coming back in Zach Sowder.

aptr Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Sowder should do very well this year. It's nice to see Scott with a good player at the QB spot, not like they have had in the past.
Sting Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Numbers in the off season weight program have been extremely impressive. There seems to be alot of enthusiasm building in the program. I can't recall Scott ever having this many players turn out for spring practice.
Sting Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Nice schedule and nice to see them playing SK again and starting that rival back up. :thumb:Agreed. Will be a tough opponent, but I'm glad to be playing them again. One of the best natural rivalries in the area.
The sarge Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Good luck to Scott this year. Hope they build on last year.:ylsuper:

SHS EAGLE Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Guys I am a Scott supporter but let's be realistic about next year. With only 2 experienced players returning in Sowder and Gaupel no way Scott goes 5-5 I think realistic maybe 1 win in Cooper and that's a maybe. They do have a good Coach in Campbell but JV last year didn't produce much also Freshman team not very good. I wish them all the luck but don't expect to much from the Eagles next year hope they prove me wrong. I did hear however that they are getting a new football complex that will be started on on July if this is true maybe the old saying if you build it they will come might help the Eagles.

I did hear however that they are getting a new football complex that will be started on on July if this is true maybe the old saying if you build it they will come might help the Eagles. The Freshman team wasn't very good because they had a lot of 8th graders on that team. They got better toward the end of the season with a couple wins. They will be better this year even if their record doesn't indicate so. Coach Campbell said he wants the Fresh. schedule to be difficult to get these kids used to playing at a higher level. Campbell went 4-6 with a varsity team that as a JV team the year before didn't score a TD all year. The guy deserves credit for what he is doing. And yes, the new stadium is coming.
Eagle 4 Life Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Will the new stadium be done in time for the season or will they be playing some games else where?
OlDog75 Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Will the new stadium be done in time for the season or will they be playing some games else where? Will it really be an entirely new complex or will the existing one be rehabbed and turf put down? I may be wrong but when Scott H.S. was built, weren't all the athletic fields state of the art? How did they get so bad?
NEERFAN Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Will the new stadium be done in time for the season or will they be playing some games else where? I would assume if anything they would be upgrading the current facility, what is the plan?
