I just don't like when student sections "over cheer" the opponents girl cheerleaders. I think it's classless. Other than that...have at it!

I remember MMI would fill one side of the gym with their students and as soon as the JV game would start, they would chant, "Go back, go back, go back to the woods ,your coach is a farmer and your team is no good". They chanted that for the entire JV and the Varsity game. Sure got old but looking back ,it was funny.:dancingpa

A couple of years ago, there was a 10th region player who shall remain nameless. When he touched the ball, the cheer was the name of another player who shall remain nameless, followed by "stole your girlfriend", done in the classic MA-son COUN-ty or "BALL-ard BRU-ins" inflection.

What about if a coaches son is in the game and the crowd starts chanting "daddy's boy"?

In my experience usually " Daddy's Boy " is one of the best players if not the best player in the game ,so that chant is a non-starter for me .

I recently attened the Beechwood vs. Bellevue game and saw what I believed as a tasteful and humourous display from one student, not the whole student section. One Beechwood student dressed as coach Schumate, suit and all, and mimicked coach's every action, it added some entertainment to an otherwise boring game.
