Greenup will not be at the meet, but I can assure you that next year after Coach Copley has a full year with the team, GC will make some noise in this meet.

It takes more than one year to make noise.

I was really impressed with our smaller skill players and their overall strength. I was very impressed with Raceland at this meet. I think "The Show of Strength" has a chance to really grow in the next few years.

^Thanks for posting these pictures Ram, I don't know how. Sorry the team picture came out blurry. If I'd known, I would have retaken it. You can't make out the "TCB" in the football on their shirts. That was my pride and joy........oh well.

I just wanted add that I am very proud of the boys for their dedication and focus to lift and get stronger like they are doing. Raceland has become a very physical football team over the past 4 years and I only see them getting stronger. The potential starting quarterback won his weight division with a dead lift of 385 lbs. and I witnessed his 215 bench press that was easily racked. He could have gone atleast 230 but was out of lifts. Pretty good for a sophomore. Our skill players were lifting pound for pound more than the lineman. Good job guys, I'm proud of all of you.

Can you get the stats of the weight classes up???

Not only has Spring practice started, but several of the players are going through the F.A.S.T. program to increase speed and agility after practice starting tonight. Last year there were 18 players that did this. I haven't heard the totals for this year.

Thanks for posting the pics Ram and thanks for the team/spring practice updates doc.:notworthy:
