Call Cigna and explain to them the situation, I work in health insurance everyday getting things approved for patients. Cigna will be able to check the claim also to make sure it was billed right. Good Luck!

So maybe I should contact Cigna over this issue now, is that what you are saying?
Yes.

I would make one more call to customer service or whatever department you were speaking to and ask to speak to supervisor. Tell them you will be sending it back, you will NOT being paying for it. If they don't listen inform them that you will be contacting local media because you feel like you are getting the run around. I would call the president of the company if needed. DON'T PAY THAT BILL!!

Funny you should say all of this. After talking to them, I hung up and emailed corporate. Well apparently these complaints go to the supervisor of the man I was talking to originally. Within 10 min of me emailing them with my complaint, I got a phone call from the gentleman saying that he had spoke with his supervisor and he can help me now. Go Figure. I called back and left a message. I will let you know what they say. Oh and I WILL NOT pay that bill. :fight:

Good Luck MFF. . . I hate it when things like this happen and you have to work so hard for something that should be so simple to being with.

YAY!! They called back and said they were so sorry for the problems we had to deal with and they would take the bill and reverse the charges...so I didn't have to pay it. I just have to mail the item back. No biggie.

Get proof that you mailed it back to them.

What a bunch of lazy idiots.

Way to keep after them, good job! Been there too!:thumb:

I'd definitely make sure someone signs for it!

However you send it make sure you get a sending receipt and although it costs a little more you should make sure (as Rocket said) that you have them sign upon delivery.

Good going.:ylsuper: After reading your problem, it reminded me of my little unsolved issue. My son had ankle surgery over Christmas. They gave us an ice machine which we uses all of a weekend. They told us that when we were done to send it back in the box they gave us. I did at the beginning of the year. Well, not more than a week after I sent the cooler back, I received a letter telling me to send it back with a postage sticker that they had sent me. Well when I sent it back in the box they had told me to, the box had a sticker already on it and the post office accepted it. I have call this place twice to find out if they have received the cooler and explain to them what I did and know one ever returns my calls.

After hearing your story, I am now calling a couple times a day.
