buttels Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Given the season that your teams have had, which district tournament should be the most exciting to watch in a couple of weeks and why??? I'll start with the 31st (Gallatin, Henry, Owen & Carroll). These 4 teams all are at 3-3 in the district. Each seems to have won a game by a point or so against the other in regulation or overtime. You can't pick a favorite between any of them this year. Who else??
big royal daddy Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 I'll go out on a limb here and say Mason Co. in the 39th.
polarbear1994 Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 I'll go out on a limb here and say Mason Co. in the 39th. Glad to see you're a gambler. The race in the 39th is for the other spot. Any of the 3 could make it. It's Augusta's turn to draw Mason. Us and St. Pat had ours, it's only fair.
The Professor Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 The 53rd should be pretty interesting, with Knott County Central, Letcher County Central, and June Buchanan. Also, Cordia has had some big upsets in past tournaments and could be a burr in the saddle as well. In the 54th Hazard, Perry County Central, Buckhorn, and Leslie County should be a good tournament, epecially the first two mentioned---the big rivals. That district draws, so the Dawgs and Commodores may tip it off in the first round.
CincySportsFan Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Without being redundant about some of the others already mentioned previously, the 32nd could shape up the same way as the 31st. Grant, Walton-Verona and Simon Kenton have all beat each other. And while Williamstown went 0-6 inside the district, they've been competitive into the closing minutes in several of those. Plus, they're hosting the district this year! Could be some interesting games!
Eta Rho Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 35th is getting pretty interesting. It's a 3 team race to see who will avoid Holmes in the first round and get to join Holmes in the Bulldog Invitational...
oldschoolcoach Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 I know North has to be the favorite in the 29th but could any one pick this one? They all are competitive and any one could jump up and win it.
04sportsfan05 Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 No doubt the 31st. All 4 teams in the district are tied for first. There is no one who is the clear favorite right now.
AirYardGo Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 No doubt the 31st. All 4 teams in the district are tied for first. There is no one who is the clear favorite right now. Will they do a draw for seeding then?
04sportsfan05 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Will they do a draw for seeding then? I believe so. There was a 2 way tie a couple years back and I think they did a coin flip, but I dont know how you could do a coin flip for a 4 way tie.
NKY sports CEO Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 The 37th could be interesting. Yes it should be very interesting!!
AHSPanther23 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Glad to see you're a gambler. The race in the 39th is for the other spot. Any of the 3 could make it. It's Augusta's turn to draw Mason. Us and St. Pat had ours, it's only fair. No I think it is Bracken's turn :taz:
