"Bluegrasspreps.com Game of the week" Highlands 16 Bell County 14 (1996)

Featured Replies

I think that it is close but not final yet.

I'm sure if Dale Mueller called Dudley and wanted to schedule a game I don't think Dudley would say no.

Me either I think that it would be good for both teams.

Highlands offered to schedule Raceland, why wouldn't he call to schedule Bell County instead?

Not sure but would love to see Raceland as well.

I would too, maybe next time.

I would love to see Highlands start playing some more teams like a Raceland or a Middlesboro for example instead of going accross the river to get a Cincinnati team to play. But that is another issue.

Good question would be a great matchup just like old times.

Highlands has 2 open dates right now

Why? Neither of those matchups would be close ... and the travel wouldn't be worth the benefit of an easy win.
I do however remember a CB for HHS standing on the Bell sideline next to Dudley listing to the play then calling it out to his teammates.
When Tom Duffy was at Henderson County, he employed the same strategy in a game for the district title against Marshall County. Asked afterwards where he came up with that, he said that Dudley Hilton had done the same thing to him in a Bell County-Highlands game.

No we wouldn't.

I agree, why?

He did call Bell (and Johnson Central too).

I think we only have one game open, but we have two possible dates available because of the bye week (Highlands is starting in week zero, which means we have a bye week).

And just why would you be so sure?
