It was #22 from HC. He shoved Marston right after the timeout was called, when he was walking to the huddle.

Just give it time the Owen faithful and others will be on here backing me up. I don't have a dog in the fight. I was basketball fan coming to watch a game tonight. I was not for Owen or Henry. I just know what I saw and what those boys from Owen are going through.

I kind of believe you now. He has a hot temper sometimes so it wouldnt suprise me too much if he did.

You are totally correct. I saw the shove also. The ref didn't have the guts to make a game deciding call. That was pitiful.

Thats for sure. If GC beats OC than everyone is tied for 1st. Amazing. Besides GC HC matchup first game I dont think any games been a blowout either.

I'm upset but not surpised that Knollman didn't call it cause I know he took A LOT of heat for that technical on that Gallatin-Owen crucial seeding game 2 years ago. Coincidentally Owen was on the other side of the no call this time. Oh well, gotta move on. Congrats to HC. Can't wait til Districts.

Sorry it ended that way. I hate seeing controversy at the end of the game no matter what team it is. Great game though. For a low scoring game I was really into it.

Hey, you have to play them on the court, not in the paper (rankings)! When it's five on five, anything can happen!

I was at this game and here is what I saw. Both teams played very hard and the game could have gone either way. I did not see the push, but I am not saying that it did not happen. If it did happen it should have been called, but should not be called aferward by either coachs arguments. The shot at the end of the game was noting but net. The players ( other than the push?) I thought played fairly. The refs were bad by not calling alot of fouls by both teams. The Henry county fans showed respect to the Owen team by clapping for all players and their awards. The Owen fans sat on their hands and showed no respect. All in all a very good game to watch. Best of luck to both teams in the future!

I hope I got this right I am pretty sure it is. What a great ball game! Owen hits a 15 ft jumpshot with 4 seconds left to put them up by 2, then HC end bounds the ball and get it to #23 Connor Jeffries who puts up a 30 footer nothing but net at the buzzer. The score may not be right because I have been so excited about the win I didnt think about it. Good luck to the Cats at Richmond, can't wait to watch you all!

 

P.S. I dub this team the luckiest team I have ever seen. They are 5 for 5 on game winning threes this year. :thumb:
