Thats right, this team plays with a lot of heart and is a pretty smart team for the most part. I am definately hoping for the best.

The 8th region "A" tournament had a great atmosphere. Several teams had great fan support. Most games came down to the 4th quarter. The 31st district has 4 solid teams. I have never seen back to back tournament games won on shots at the buzzer. Great tourney!:thumb:

Wow, this is one incredibly low scoring game. Is this because of defense or just an extreme lack of offense by these two teams?

Vey disappointed in Knollman's reffing throughout the entire game not just the end. He is a better ref than he showed last night.

I was at this game and here is what I saw. Both teams played very hard and the game could have gone either way. I did not see the push, but I am not saying that it did not happen. If it did happen it should have been called, but should not be called aferward by either coachs arguments. The shot at the end of the game was noting but net. The players ( other than the push?) I thought played fairly. The refs were bad by not calling alot of fouls by both teams. The Henry county fans showed respect to the Owen team by clapping for all players and their awards. The Owen fans sat on their hands and showed no respect. All in all a very good game to watch. Best of luck to both teams in the future!

 

Congrats to Henry Co. I saw many Owen Co fans clapping for all the all tourney team members. However, I'm sure some fans were not clapping because of how the game ended and some were just sitting there in a state of shock after seeing Henry hit another game winning three. I have seen them play 4 games this season and 3 of them were won at the buzzer.

Not sure why Henry Co. is playing in the Class A tournament. I understand that there is going to be some 1A/2A crossover with teams who are 2A in football (Carroll Co., Owen Co., Newport, Lloyd, Newport Catholic). However, Henry Co. is 3A in football and in my opinion should not be playing in the Class A tournament.
