nkuclubbaseball19 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Well what started out as strep throat has left me admitted into the hospital with a cut tonsil. Don't ask me how I cut it but it left me coughing and spitting up blood for a few hours this morning/early afternoon. I haven't had food since 8 am and they won't feed me now. I am starving so it's putting me in a bad mood. I'm hooked up to 3 different machines and I can only see them adding more. Nurse just walked in and said that I probably won't be able to eat until morning. They are waiting for blood tests to come back and waiting to consult with some special doctor.
mcpapa Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 On a related note, back in the day it used to be that just about everybody had their tonsils taken out. Mine were removed when I was 4. Now it seems to be the exception rather than the rule.

I can't imagine what I have to do to get them taken out.
