Cool didnt know they were that far along. Who have they beaten so far in the All A? Im guessing Heritage was one.

I wasnt sure exactly when the All A started. Didnt realize that the Beechwood game was a part of it. Is the All A at Newport this year?

Yes it is. The Beechwood game was the opening game of the tourney on Monday. I believe the game tomorrow is at 6 followed by a tough matchup between St Henry and NCC.

Newport is very athletic and Dayton is undersized I can see Newport using that to there advantage in the paint but I still see Dayton coming out and playing hard and putting a W on there record

Dayton will keep this close for the most part. But I see Newport taking over in the 2nd half and playing in the finals Saturday.

Newport by less than 8 the home court advantage will help them pull it out.

If Dayton can take care of the ball and get hot from the outside they may be able to pull off an upset. The overall size of the Wildcats though looks to have some major mismatches on the floor. With Darnell and McDaniels and their size they should be able to overpower the young Devils.

 

I expect Newport to advance and win by 12.

I think Newport wins a high scoring game by 10 in a game that's not as close as the score indicates. I see Newport leading by around 15 the majority of the game and Dayton making a late run to make it more respectable.

I think it is a bit foolish to say that they shouldn't have any trouble with Dayton. Dayton is very capable of pulling off an upset...I'm not entirely convinced that they will. Dayton has very good balance with 6 players capable of leading the team in scoring on any given night. If all 6 of those guys get hot they would give a lot of teams trouble.

 

I'm just saying it is not inevitable that Newport makes it to the championship...that's why they play the games.

I'd be very surprised if Dayton won this game. They don't match up with Newport at all. Their athleticim will give a smaller Dayton team problems all night.

I don't think this will be much of a game truthfully. Npt by 15+... What has Dayton done to earn a prediction of a close game with Npt? Just wondering, not trying to start an arguement.
