Greenup County names Mike Copley the new Football Coach

Featured Replies

Look, Im just going to throw this out there. "Who cares" , we have a new coach, there is about to be great things happening, I am tired of talking about transfers, if you want to leave then leave. I'm not begging anyone to stay. It is time for this community to step up and do everything possible for the new coach, because I can assure you he is going to go the extra mile every day.

You said it well coupon "Who Cares" best of luck to the kids but we have bigger and better things to talk about:clap:. Alot of great things are getting ready to happen for GCHS and as far as I'm concerned one or two kids transferring out is not going to break our focus and our excitement about the good things to come. What ever the issues might have been is it really worth all the attention  I think not.

Exactly Coupon, this is a very exciting time for Greenup County, and everyone should be getting behind the new coach and breath some new life into the program. I'm excited for Greenup County, and to state the obvious, I am not even a GC fan or parent. Everyone inside the program should be excited as well. Greenup is on it's way to brighter days.

I think most people are excited. We all need to work together to support the team and the new coach. Remember, having a new coach, doesn't automatically "fix everything." We all have to commit to doing things differently. Come to more games, volunteer to help out the boosters, whatever it takes!

Greenup County Fans can start by participating in the Booster Club Elections, scheduled for tomorrow evening (Monday) at 6 pm at the High School.

Will this meeting take place even if there is no school?

Yes, regardless of whether school is in session we will hold elections. They are scheduled to take place at 6pm in the cafeteria. If we cannot get into the school we will meet in the Field House.

I agree the future is very bright for GC football. I heard some kids that haven't played football recently are going to get a try.

Will Coach Copley be at the Booster meeting?

I don't believe he will be there. The Coach is included in Booster meetings and I am sure when Coach Copley is here he will be invited.
