January 17, 200917 yr Cats by 10... UK is turning into a very nice team. A consistent 3rd option would make them very tough.
January 17, 200917 yr Being the fact UGA is 224 in RPI, and one game above .500 on the season, UK should win this game by 20 plus.

If UG could have made freethrows they would have won that game. Cats should win for sure but have to be ready to take care of business.:thumb:
January 17, 200917 yr I say Pat has the game of his life tomorrow. All of UK's players are gaining some much needed confidence, which will further lead them through the SEC tourney. Cats by 23.

January 17, 200917 yr Hopefully UK doesnt have a let down game in this one. They need to come out and handle business and not take this team lately. Had a discussion yesterday with my math teacher and she brought up how this game worried her because until last years win Kentucky hadnt beat UGA in Athens for a couple years.
January 17, 200917 yr If UK pulls this out are they a contender for a top 25 spot? I would defintley think so. If they win against UGA their only loss over the past 10 games would be to L-ville and that was on a "lucky" and crazy shot IMO.
January 17, 200917 yr This is what they call a trap game, but I think the Cats will not buy into that and will come away with another big SEC win. GO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
January 17, 200917 yr If UK pulls this out are they a contender for a top 25 spot? If UK pulls this one out, they are a LOCK for a top 25 spot.

How many quality wins in that time span though? The biggest thing working against the Cats now is their strength of schedule, and inability to do anything about it. I think UK is one of the top 25 teams in the nation, with a duo like that... The Sosa shot was luck, but so was the fact that UK (down 7 with 45 seconds left) even had a chance. They trailed for over 39 minutes and were able to tie the game, I'd call that being pretty lucky too:cool:
