January 16, 200917 yr Brent Guy was most recently the head man at Utah St. He was fired from there. He will be the 4th defensive co. under the Kragthorpe regime. That says it all folks...
January 16, 200917 yr ^ Yes.....it is all Krag's fault....he is the anti-Christ and this is actually the beginning of the end for all of us.
January 16, 200917 yr Doesn't matter frankly if it is "all Krags fault" or not. If he doesn't pull a rabbit out of his hat this season, he will and SHOULD be forwarded a first class ticket out of town. I respect those who defend coaches dealt a tough hand, but IMO the PROGRAM should be paramount.
January 16, 200917 yr ^ You would be hard pressed to fins any coach in this country that could sustain any real success being down a class that is supposed to be starters by now. Until Coach Kragthorpe is at full strength, he gets a pass, in my book.
January 16, 200917 yr I am probably not the right guy to debate this with you RP, but what about his first year? There was no lack of talent! He has studs everywhere and underperformed. Explain that to your fanbase and then I will understand.

January 16, 200917 yr RockPride and I don't agree on many things that aren't Trinity, but he's right about Kragthorpe. Do last year's and this year's recruiting classes contain enough of the type of players that it will take to turn things around?
January 17, 200917 yr Do last year's and this year's recruiting classes contain enough of the type of players that it will take to turn things around? Everyone places such importance on "stars". I think the classes contain the players who have what the program needs in terms of many things. It may not translate to "on-field" success next year, but it's a solid base for future years.
January 17, 200917 yr RockPride and I don't agree on many things that aren't Trinity, but he's right about Kragthorpe. I was thinking the same thing. There are very few posts from RockPride and Rockmom outside of the High School Football Forum that I agree with, but I'm with them on Coach K.
January 17, 200917 yr RockPride and I don't agree on many things that aren't Trinity, but he's right about Kragthorpe. Trinity is involved in this. For those who don't know, Kragthorpe's son is the projected starting QB for Trinity next season. I can understand why Trinity fans would try to defend him more than the casual Louisville fan.

January 17, 200917 yr Author I can see being short handed as an excuse for this seaon.... well not I can't,they had 8 home games and finished 5-7 against an easy schedule. Lasy year, no excuse... How many pro players were on that roster? I totally disagree with you all about K-thorpe. Like I've said many times before, I hope I'm wrong. I've yet to see anything, with him, to get excited about. So please, enlighten me on what you all are basing your optimism on.
January 17, 200917 yr Author ^ Yes.....it is all Krag's fault....he is the anti-Christ and this is actually the beginning of the end for all of us. You said it... not me. It's ok that we disagree on K-thorpe. We can both be UofL fans and not agree. BTW, I don't care whose fault it is. 4 def. co's in 2 years is pathetic. Since it isn't Krag's fault, whose is it? Let me guess, Petrino.
January 17, 200917 yr ^ Yes.....it is all Krag's fault....he is the anti-Christ and this is actually the beginning of the end for all of us. If he were the anti-Christ, everything would be going really good for U of L :thumb:
