Who plays better basketball right now? The Big East or the ACC? They seem to be the top two conferences in the nation as of right now... So who is the best?

 

My vote goes for the ACC.

Top to bottom it's easily the Big East. At the top it's a toss up right now...

The Big East is a monster conference right now. I have a family member who is a big U Conn fan, so I have watched lots of Big East ball on the tube. It's an amazingly good conference.

Agree ACC top 4 teams and Big East top 4 teams are pretty equal. ACC drops off a lot after the top 4. Big East has 10 to 12 teams that can beat you any time.

I'm not even sold on the top of the ACC...

The top goes to the ACC right now. The Big East has more depth, but also some bad teams at the bottom that the ACC doesn't have. With 16 teams you should have more depth right? I vote ACC.

UNC, Duke, and Wake haven't been impressive?

 

More impressive than the Top 3 for the Big East no doubt.

I wouldn't say hands down the ACC is better than the Big East at the top...

 

UNC lost to BC who lost to HARVARD....

 

Duke is good, but still inconsistent, IMO.

 

Wake is definitely good.

We could play the "lost to" game forever. UNC has one bad loss, but they are still a monster.

NC State, GT and Virginia are not very good. BC, VPI, FSU and Maryland are the middle and they are certainly not as good as the middle of the Big East...

Just about every computer ranking (read non biased/nor innundated by the media) has the ACC as the best.

NC State, GT and Virginia are not very good.
